Electrical & Mechanical Integration for PLC Automation Lines
This project involved comprehensive electrical and mechanical integration across PLC lines 3, 4, and 5 at Tesla’s assembly facility. Our team executed structural adaptations, precision mounting of automation equipment, and the resolution of multiple technical incidents to maintain uninterrupted line performance and operational safety.
Work included modifications to overhead cable trays, installation of safety fencing, and integration of aluminum frames, robot controllers, and structural support bases—ensuring compliance with Tesla’s strict automation and safety standards.
Night-shift mechanical crews enabled continuous workflow by performing tray and panel disassembly, allowing the electrical integration team to progress without delays. All components were reinstalled with reinforced alignment and safety considerations.
We assembled plates, brackets, fasteners, and protective steel guards for MIO, SIO, LETH, PETH, HDMI, and HMI modules. Additionally, the final routing for plastic injection systems on PLC3 was defined. Cable tray installation reached 95% completion, while cable routing and organization for PLC1, PLC4, and PLC5 achieved progress levels between 50% and 90%.
These results demonstrate our expertise in high-complexity industrial environments, precision PLC integration, and seamless coordination between electrical and mechanical workflows within large-scale automation projects.
